Profile ownership
If a record is about you or your firm, you should be able to correct it.
People and organizations can claim a profile using evidence tied to the record. Verified owners can update supported fields, contribute current information and control whether an eligible personal profile is public.

How is a claim checked?
Available methods include a verified work-email match, a matching contact address, a DNS record, a manager claim, a LinkedIn comparison, or manual review. The method depends on whether the record represents a person, firm, company or fund.

What can a verified owner do?
- Correct supported identity, profile and investment-focus fields.
- Add funding rounds or portfolio relationships where the product supports them.
- Receive limited, structured connect requests.
- Publish or withdraw an eligible personal profile, and erase a claimed personal profile.

What if I do not want to claim the page?
You can ask for a public directory record or a personal detail to be removed without creating an account. Use the removal request and explain what needs to change.
